Job Description

Accounting Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic
finance team. This entry-level position is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals with up
to one year of relevant accounting experience. The successful candidate will play a
crucial role in supporting various accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance,
and efficiency in financial operations.
● Assist in the preparation of financial statements and various financial reports.
● Support the accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and
accurate transactions.
● Participate in month-end and year-end closing procedures to ensure accurate
financial reporting.
● Assist with tax preparations and filing requirements to ensure compliance with all
relevant regulations.
● Analyze financial data and create detailed reports for management review.
● Comply with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial
● Compile, enter, and post monthly adjusting journal entries to maintain accurate
financial records.
● Assist with audit preparations and other compliance activities to support internal
and external audits.
● Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial
documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Minimum Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● Up to one year of relevant accounting experience. Fresh graduates are
encouraged to apply.
● Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting
● Experience with financial software and systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, or
Oracle Financials is a plus.
