Job Description
In-house Technical Sales Engineer Responsibilities:
- Establishing the technical needs of the customer and suggesting appropriate products.
- Ensuring that sales targets are consistently met by coordinating sales projects.
- Following up with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Answers inquiries and questions from customers related to ongoing use of products, maintenance requirements, operations, and other related information.
- Closed new accounts by answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verified and entered the information.
- Updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
- Negotiates pricing, lead times, terms, and conditions and recommends best commercial options ensuring budgets are met.
- Purchases items consistent with price, desired quality, and requirement date.
- Practice strategic sourcing to acquire materials, supplies, and all services
- Maintain a good relationship with the suppliers, contractors, and service providers.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports required by the department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualification/s:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Engineering i.e. Mechanical, Industrial, or any equivalent.
- Can withstand pressure and can work well with minimal supervision.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Sucat, Parañaque City.
- Computer literate.
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Knowing how to drive and with a valid driver’s license is an advantage.
- Willing to work in Davao City and undergo training in Paranaque City. (Transportation & Housing Expenses paid by the employer)
