Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Motivating and encouraging internal and external design teams
- Ensuring structural drawings and designs are produced on time, to a high quality, and are easy to decipher
- Overseeing the design process using technical expertise
- Working with clients to ensure that their expectations are met
- Avoiding errors and reducing financial risk during construction
- Ensuring designs are available to those who need them, at the appropriate time
- Maintaining thorough documentation of the design process
- Keeping up-to-date with changing building legislation and codes of practice relating to design
- Working in an office, with occasional site visits.
- Preparing preliminary drawings such as kitchen plans and layout to be submitted to the client.
- As-built drawing execution
- Coordinates with engineering/costing team the technical data required for any given project
- Coordinates and distributes to the rest of the planning team all relevant data for new and existing project.
Job Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Professional License , Architecture or equivalent.
- Above average communication skills, leadership and presentation skills, analytical, Personable.
- At least 3 year working experience in making/preparing a Site Development Plan for Horizontal Subdivision.
