JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • Overall in charge of coordinating with different departments of hospitals for Japanese patients and clients.
  • Expand contracts to doctors to be medical providers.
  • Provide a list of Medical Institution-JHD Accredited doctors for references.
  • Guide and assist patients in dealing with different departments of the hospital.
  • Arrangement of Patient-Doctor consultation, procedures, examination, and treatment schedules.
  • Prepares documents needed for the consultation and CMS (Laboratory results, X-Ray, CT-Scan, and MRI, etc., claim forms, patient’s chart).
  • Attend to the needs of the patient and medical provider during the consultation.
  • Inform and explain to the patient his/her condition and treatment/procedure/medication to carry out.
  • For admission cases, arrange all necessary documents (admission order, admission room, discharge order, medical certificate and abstract, take-home medicines, etc.)
  • For ER cases, during holidays or after working hours, the Japanese Help Desk will confirm it and assess if it will be covered or not.
  • Obtain a statement of account from the medical provider.
  • Arrange the Follow-ups if necessary.
  • Provide information to the insurance claim agent regarding the treatment of the patient on the same day.
  • Prepares documents such SOA, claim forms, insurance policy, passport, claim list, and other needed documents and to be forwarded to Main Office.
  • Handle and be responsible for the issuance of the guarantee letter for hospital transactions as CMS (Cashless Medical Service).
  • Completion of required documents such as claim forms, invoices, medical certificate, insurance policy copy and other supporting documents to be submitted to the insurance company.
  • Coordinate with billing department for outstanding balance or dues.
  • In-charge of paying hospital invoices to medical providers
  • Coordinate with hospital corporate health and wellness for updates of wellness package and ECU for patients and clients.
  • Coordinate with Japanese Interpreter.
  • Provide medical interpretation either personally or over the phone.

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • No work experience is required.
  • Required Skill(s): Good communication skills, customer-oriented, knowledgeable in medical terminologies, flexible, organized
  • Preferably Less than 1-year of experience specialized in Healthcare – Nurse/Medical Support & Assistant or equivalent.
