Job Description

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

MS LazMall Team Management and Strategy

  • Ensure that LazMall Key Accounts and above is able to meet revenue and adoption targets across the different solutions
  • Ensure that the team is seen by brands as the key consultants in eCommerce investment optimizations, driving traffic to and on the platform, by ensuring a certain level and quality of service to key partners while managing the team’s workload
  • Drive the direction and strategy on how to achieve revenue targets given the current landscape (competition, brand behaviour, obstacles to adoption, brand budget, solution ramp up capabilities, brand education efforts)
  • Drive the Sponsored Display conversation with key internal (pricing, inventory, landscape) and external (package and solution positioning) stakeholders
  • Regularly review the team’s account and category splits of the team to see if there’s room to improve efficiency and performance. Ensure that team members are motivated, challenged, and performing in their respective scopes
  • Represent the team and its objectives when coordinating with internal stakeholders – other MS teams, Commercial Heads, campaigns team, regional team

Oversee MS LazMall Operations

  • Understand the features and setup of the different solutions offered to brands/sellers to invest in and towards the platform, i.e. Sponsored Search, Sponsored Display, Sponsored Products, Sponsored Affiliate, Marketing Solutions Portal, external traffic channels such as Facebook and Google
  • Represent MS LazMall PH in any regional discussion and solution upgrade
  • Coordinate with different teams internally, e.g.:
  • Commercial heads for business direction, cluster-specific strategies
  • Business Operations on campaign calendars and tiering/strategy, asset inventory, and execution
  • Branding, Performance marketing, Sponsored Solutions Operations for ways of working with the team
  • Legal and Finance to ensure proper SLAs on the team’s requests
  • Monitor overall Joint Business Planning Partners (JBP) and LazMall Key Accounts (KA) performance metrics across the different solutions and identify benchmarks, best practices, and points for improvement

Oversee MS LazMall Account Management

  • Be present in investment discussions with top KAs and JBPs
  • Accompany team members in negotiating with Key Accounts when necessary
  • Understand managed clients’ consumer funnel, goals, and strategy and help the team strategize on how to consult with their accounts. Ensure that top brands are given insightful optimization and budget allocation recommendations
  • Provide overall direction on how the team can support brands/sellers/their agencies to build efficient media plans (from planning to execution to post-mortem)
  • Set the cadence on how the team looks at key performance indicators, campaign performance, and how often business reviews are conducted with each account tier

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5-8 years of experience in brand/account management
  • Brand/digital performance marketing/agency experience is a plus
  • Advertising sales experience is a plus
  • Strong communication skills to be able to represent the team to top brands, key accounts, and Commercial team
  • Firm, strong personality to be able to guide brands, sellers, and agencies to ensure proper usage of tools
  • Strong sense of focus to be able to guide the team towards an effective strategy to deliver KPIs
  • Attention to detail, strong analytical skills to help the team have the correct thought process in account performance analyses
  • Strong project management and coordination skills to be able to liaise with different internal and external teams
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a clear sense of ownership, quality and timely delivery work
  • Willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment
