Job Description

The Category Marketing Specialist aims to drive revenue and volume in the Pilmico Farms Division, focusing on growing the Meats and Poultry business through strategic category development across all channels including e-commerce.

The role is passionate about demand creation campaigns and channel activations execution with proven experience of using KPIs that define and measure reach, penetration, conversion and customer engagement for the B2C and the B2B audience.

The Category Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Product Marketing Manager on communications strategy and content creation, to serve the end consumer’s dynamic content needs. The successful candidate should be a team player, able to partner with external agencies and internal teams, to figure out what is best for our customers, will own KPIs that drive engagement and will monitor and report the impact of the content marketing on the business growth.

Qualifications

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other related field or equivalent experience

Experience:

· 2+ years relevant work experience in marketing, preferably in the FMCG environment
· 1+ years’ experience managing and measuring content marketing
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Proven track record establishing program(s) end-to-end, from the ground up

Other Requirements:

·        Above average knowledge in digital marketing and e-commerce management

 

Additional Information

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Accountable for end-to-end category marketing management, which include but not limited to:

  1. Strategic content ideation, planning, development and execution anchored on macroeconomic indicators, industry trends and consumer insights.
  2. Management of BMI and KPIs through continuous tracking and insight gathering for content improvement and prioritization.
  3. Execution of approved projects in a timely fashion for multiple deliverables for campaigns and programs with competing timelines.
  4. Sharp analysis of insights to be able to move quickly to adapt marketing strategies and programs to keep pace with industry changes.

Expected to have above average skills in digital marketing to oversee execution of digital advertising strategies, set ad standards and manage content objectives for paid social and email flows that encourage engagement and growth in coordination with Corporate Brand Communications and the E-Commerce Manager.

Other digital marketing responsibilities to include:

  1. Recommending and pursuing new growth opportunities across all channels and touchpoints including landing pages, paid social, paid search, social media, influencer marketing and email marketing
  2. Overseeing content execution, including organizing the full year content calendar and ensuring execution of project timelines, creating and measuring engagement goals and guidelines for social
  3. Keeping abreast of digital marketing trends and new/emerging channels to direct content that feels relevant and connected to the target audience
  4. Work closely with internal and external creative services partners to help identify external talents to assist in the creation of digital assets
