The Production Department is the engine room within Shootsta. It is directly in control of client satisfaction and ultimately company success.
Video editors and Animators are Storytellers. Image crafters. Mood setters. Shootsta expects its editors to ‘do what you do best’ on every project they work on.
As a Post Production Manager, you will oversee the mid-shift Clark Production Department to ensure it’s continuing to create the highest possible quality content.
You are a tech-savvy people person who speaks fluent client, and fluent video editor.
You will be responsible to support Shootsta recruitment activities where required, line management and continual professional development of the Edit/AnimationTeams. You will implement global and local L&D strategies to nurture growth. You will liaise frequently with the Head of Production to ensure new strategies and workflows are adopted within the production team seamlessly, regularly reporting back with regional updates.
You will also work closely with the region’s Account Managers ensuring they work closely with their Edit Teams to uphold open communication with their clients.
When new systems and workflows are developed by the global team you will ensure each member of the production team is appropriately trained and equipped to carry out their roles with maximum efficiency.

Key Roles of a Post Production Manager
- Establish project priorities and schedules, in line with SLAs and creative objectives
- Manage traffic to ensure SLAs are met
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the team
- To review and approve or reject video/animation projects to ensure the quality of deliverables
- Ensure the quality of the review process is being upheld
- Provide appropriate training resources to the Edit Teams
- Support the professional development of all editors in line with our team’s structure.
- Support the hiring of new Production talent
- Execution of The Editor Recognition Program
- Support of Editor/Animator 6 monthly performance reviews
- Providing feedback to clients to progress their content
- Supporting the Edit team with regards to your specific skills

Qualifications
What knowledge and experiential requirements do I need to be successful?
- Taking a client’s brief and bringing it to life through video and animation
- Solid knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Adobe Illustrator
- General knowledge across the Adobe CC Suite
- Maintaining accurate and up to date Shootsta brand knowledge
- Collaboration with a global team to share ideas & experience
- Maintaining basic computer system operation including software & plugin updates
- Apple operating system environment

- You have 6+ years in video production
