About The Role
The PartnerHero Mental Health and Wellness Counsellor will leverage knowledge and professional expertise to support team members’ personal well-being and emotional health. They will differentiate clinical from non-clinical issues and educate team members on resources and support systems that best meet their needs.
This leader will collaborate with PartnerHero leadership in creating programming that will engage content moderators in activities and resilience programming that will enhance their wellness and increase their resiliency. They will also support individuals and teams, developing and maintaining a non-clinical coaching relationship with associates to help them cope with daily job demands. The Counsellor will assist associates in working toward emotional safety and wellness in an environment that promotes individual satisfaction, productivity, and joy.
You’ll Be…
- Learning each of PartnerHero’s Content Moderation programs, including day-in-the-life shadowing sessions with individuals at all levels of the program
- Making recommendations to each program’s leaders so that Content Moderation roles and processes can better support the resilience and well-being of personnel
- Referring PartnerHero associates to internal and external resources to address stress and mental health concerns as needed
- Collaborating with the People Operations team and Operations Managers on data collection and reporting, as well as, coaching and workshop delivery
- Designing and facilitating wellness sessions, outreaching programs, and activities that support monthly programming and partner objectives for content moderators aimed to reduce burnout and promote resilience
- Scheduling and conducting regular and consistent 1:1 sessions with content moderators to promote resilience and provide support, guidance on non-clinical issues, and referrals to resources as appropriate
- Assessing for emergency/crisis needs and ensuring safety planning and proper referral to the appropriate level of care
- Facilitating monthly training on mental health and resilience topics with frontline Content Moderation associates
- Designing and developing training and workshop curricula in partnership with the Leadership Development team, to include developing best practices, peer support, guides, and multimedia materials that will support training
- Determining the KPIs and outcome measures for evaluating employee wellbeing and the success of the program
- Creating internal and external content (eg, blog posts) around learnings from the program
- Preparing reports for senior leadership on a regular basis
- Attending meetings with the team and senior leadership regularly
What You Bring To The Table
- 4-year degree, preferably in Psychology, Social Work, Health and Wellness, or similar tracks
- 3+ years experience in health coaching, non-clinical counseling, or related expertise; certifications are a plus
- Membership in a relevant professional body, with a code of professional practice and complaints procedures, is a plus
- Experience developing resilience trainings or programs; for content moderators is highly preferred
- Familiarity with global cultures; Latin America and the Philippines preferred
- Experience conducting trainings, group and individual sessions to assess states of well-being
- Strong written, verbal, and digital communication skills
- High regard for confidentiality and sensitive information
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to achieve programmatic results
- Flexibility and adaptability to associate and partner
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of metrics-based work
- Knowledge of wellness and resilience and experience developing tools and techniques to aid employees in best support practices
- Flexible work schedule depending on partner needs
- Availability to work under a hybrid modality; depending on business needs
Good to have:
- Previous experience working in Content Moderation, similar jobs, or previous experience assisting others in adapting to challenges and promoting change
