Job Description
The AVP, Talent Analytics, and C&B is responsible for ensuring fair and accurate administration of employee compensation and benefits, providing actionable information and insights through HR data and analytics to drive a rewarding employee experience, and business success.
He or she will establish and execute strategies and governance on employee data management and analytics, develop and implement compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures aligned with the company’s goals and competitive practices and ensure that the same are in compliance with internal and government regulations.
People Management
- Leads the C&B team to ensure that insights and analytic work is completed timely with high-quality, effective solutions.
- Sets direction and supports the professional development of team members under the Analytics team
Talent Analytics
- Collects and analyzes data and statistics to identify trends, improve processes, operational performance, and insights
- Ensures reporting solutions, insights, analytical tools, and dashboards deliver actionable and accurate data to end users
- Prepares reports of data results, presents and explains findings to senior leadership.
- Build partnerships and work closely with internal technology teams and vendors to deliver and review HR tools and system solutions
Compensation and Benefits
- Manages the development, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefit programs
- Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation and benefits practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with market trends and corporate objectives.
- Provides advice to management on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
- Designs creative solutions to specific compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
- Oversees participation in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.
- Ensures compliance with internal and government compensation laws and regulations.
Qualifications
Skills:
- Knowledge of internal, regulatory, and compliance requirements related to employee compensation and benefits
- Highly proficient in Excel and other MS office applications or related software.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
- Familiarity with context and application of predictive and prescriptive analytics models to the HR business function
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resource or related field
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in employee compensation and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) with a focus on data structure, transformation, modeling, and reporting
- Demonstrated experience managing projects, initiatives and reports using data visualization applications (such as Power BI, Tableau) targeted to an executive audience.
