Job Description
As a Virtual Medical Receptionist you ll be the digital face of a dynamic pain management clinic managing all aspects of patient interaction and appointment scheduling. Working remotely you ll utilize stateoftheart technology to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Manage a highvolume virtual appointment system ensuring efficient scheduling and minimal wait times
- Conduct outbound calls to patients for appointment scheduling followups and confirmations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries providing information about services and addressing concerns
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate closely with the physician to optimize clinic workflow and patient care
- Assist in implementing and improving virtual front desk operations
- Potentially expand role to include basic medical billing tasks as the practice grows
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical reception or related healthcare customer service role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and medical scheduling software
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
