Job Description

Graduate of Accounting degree/Diploma or its equivalent

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Fixed Assets Accounting from a manufacturing industry environment
• Excellent working experience in Customer Invoicing and accounts reconciliation
• Knowledgeable in Fixed Assets accounting from Purchase to Disposal
• Knowledgeable with ERP and consolidation systems (SAP/ S4HANA)

Job Responsibilities

• Generate SAP Invoices initially for Japan and Singapore and others if needed
• Timely and organized customer reconciliation of accounts in coordination with Customer Sales Rep
• Highlight Issues with Accounts Receivable Supervisor / Finance Manager for any unusual transactions and collection issues
• Support resolution of intercompany AR variances
• Provide prompt and proper resolution of queries as they arise
• Support external audits for statutory and compliance requirements

Maintain the Fixed assets (FA) Accounting

• Record and monitor construction in progress until the asset placement process, including budget compliance based on approved CAPEX
• Record asset placement, generate and assign FA number for tagging including the date of initial depreciation and all asset’s relevant information to enable the system to calculate depreciation
• Work with Accounting to ensure the FA register is properly maintained in US GAAP/Local GAAP/Tax and other requirements
• Run depreciation based on the relative useful life of the assets
• Record the approved disposal of assets
• Lead the periodic physical inventory of assets
