Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Travel Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:- Preparing and Booking Holiday Quotes: Using SABRE for airline quoting and reservations.
- Handling Business Class Airfares: Must be comfortable managing business class bookings.
- Invoicing: Using TRAMADA (preferred skill).
- Booking Travel Essentials: Hotels car hire travel insurance and other necessary components for a successful travel experience.
- Trip Management: Ensuring all travel elements including ferries and transfer services are properly scheduled.
- Platform Familiarity: Proficiency in various travel booking platforms.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accurate and aligned schedules for trips and hotel bookings.
- Customer Service: Providing patient detailed and thorough service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Complex Travel Arrangements: Managing more complex travel arrangements and offering enhanced services such as hotel upgrades personalized itineraries and special requests.
Requirements
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years significant industry experience with a deep understanding of the travel industry and extensive customer service experience.
- GDS Trained: Proficiency in SABRE.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with TRAMADA.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written communication and telephone skills.
- Computer Literacy: Strong computer skills and online proficiency.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in all bookings and schedules.
- Organizational Skills: Effective organizational and time management abilities.
- Attitude: Positive cheerful team and serviceoriented attitude.
- Platform Familiarity: Knowledge of platforms like Expedia and TripAdvisor.
- Complex Travel Management: Experience managing more complex travel arrangements and offering enhanced services such as hotel upgrades and personalized itineraries.
