Duties and responsibilities:
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Greet customers warmly and provide prompt and courteous service.
- Process sales transactions efficiently, including managing change.
- Assist customers with inquiries about menu items, and prices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and ensure all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist with other tasks in the canteen as needed, including restocking supplies and cleaning.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a cashier or customer service role is preferred.
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to handle cash accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
