Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience performing Same day surgery and/or Observation medical record coding
Required Specialties: Complex cases
- All types of surgery – Physiatry
- Cardiovascular Surgery – Urology
- Neurosurgery – Digestive
- Orthopedic Surgery – Respiratory
- Integumentary
- Musculoskeletal
- REQUIRED: AHIMA or AAPC approved credential
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS
