About The Role

Join WEKA, a fast-growing startup in the data management industry. As a Regional Sales Manager for Southern California, you will be responsible for driving sales, acquiring new customers, and maintaining positive relationships with existing clients. You will work closely with strategic partners, collaborate on all aspects of the sales cycle, and interface with senior management. This is a quota-carrying hunter sales role targeting enterprise-level companies.

Demonstrate a deep understanding of WEKA and the value to our customers, and develop and execute against a strategic plan to create sales pipeline.
Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement, and work with strategic and VAR partners to cultivate and manage joint selling opportunities.
Collaborate on and improve all aspects of the sales cycle, including product, support, and sales engineering, and interface at many levels of WEKA senior management.
Passion and desire to work in a startup culture directly impacting the growth of the company
Proven track record of effective selling
Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
Superb written and verbal communications skills
Technical acumen as it relates to storage and networking
5+ years of IT Sales experience
