Actively support month-end and year-end closing processes by reviewing financial statements and preparing relevant accounting adjustments.
Participate in the preparation of the annual budget alongside the Finance Controller and local teams and support monthly budget follow-up and financial analysis.
Contribute to the annual audit process by preparing supporting documentation and acting as a key point of contact for auditors in collaboration with the Accounting team.
Experience in the industrial sector or in a fast-paced startup/scale-up environment is considered an advantage
Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English
Entry-level position in financial controlling; no prior experience as a Financial Controller is required. However, for candidates without prior controlling experience, a minimum of 2 years of experience in audit is required
Knowledge of French and/or Italian is considered a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong command of Excel and ability to analyse and manipulate financial data efficiently
Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Navision, is considered a plus
Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the finance function
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong organisational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
