Foundational software engineering experience (roughly 1-3 years, including internships or substantial projects), ideally with exposure to backend services, developer platforms, or infrastructure tools
Familiarity and growing proficiency with AI coding tools
Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL, distributed systems, or deployment automation is a strong plus
Comfort with Linux fundamentals: the shell, SSH, services, containers, and basic networking
Experience working in collaborative environments with other technical contributors
Working knowledge of Go or TypeScript, or a track record of picking up new languages quickly
An interest in working across multiple layers of a system, from backend services to user-facing tooling
We don't require previous experience with our tech stack, but enthusiasm for learning is key
