About The Role

Join Chalk, a high-growth start-up, as an Infrastructure Engineer. In this role, you will tackle challenging engineering problems with a high degree of autonomy and ownership. You will write code to automate orchestration and provisioning of infrastructure, build a platform for managing our hosted platform, and work closely with our Engineering and Sales teams. Automate orchestration and provisioning of infrastructure to execute Chalk technology for customers.
Build a platform for managing the hosted platform and deploying Chalk into customer-owned cloud accounts.
Collaborate with Engineering and Sales teams, and help interview and grow the Engineering team.
We are looking for a platform engineer with a strong background in infrastructure engineering
Ability to collaborate effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals
Experienced in working with with AWS and/or GCP
Experience working closely with sales teams and customers is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Proficient in Python, Go, and/or Terraform
Have experience setting up hosted cloud resources for multiple companies
Understanding of Machine Learning Ops/Infrastructure
Previous experience working with ML/data products or services
4+ years experience writing software to automate infrastructure management
