About The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate insurance policies to determine coverage and assess claim validity
  • Conduct thorough investigations and documentation of claims, including site inspections and interviews
  • Compile and submit comprehensive claim reports and documentation to insurance companies
  • Negotiate settlements with insurance company representatives on behalf of policyholders
  • Provide expert advice to clients throughout the claims process, ensuring they understand their rights and options
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all claim-related activities
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, trends, and best practices to effectively advocate for clients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an insurance adjuster, with a focus on public adjusting
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, coverage, and claims processes
  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology tools

Preferred Skills

  • Professional certification such as Certified Professional Public Adjuster (CPPA) or Senior Professional Public Adjuster (SPPA)
  • Experience in handling large and complex claims
  • Knowledge of local and international insurance regulations and standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
