Job Summary
The Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between business units and the IT group, ensuring that technology initiatives align with organizational goals and strategies. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing project ideation and initiation, and ensuring the timely delivery of both priority projects and business-as-usual (BAU) requests. The Account Manager collaborates closely with business units to define requirements, prioritize system enhancements, and coordinate budgets and resources. By fostering strong partnerships and effective communication, the Account Manager drives alignment between business needs and IT solutions, supporting the organization’s overall strategic direction.
Desired Skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- Mid- to senior-level experience in account management, project management, or delivery management, including delivering IT projects as a delivery manager or project manager.
- Strong understanding of business strategy alignment with IT initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client relationship skills, with experience presenting to stakeholders at various levels.
- Proficient in project coordination, status reporting, and managing BAU (Business-As-Usual) activities.
- Skilled in budgeting, cost analysis, and financial coordination for IT projects.
- Strong negotiation skills to manage priorities, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
- Experience in requirements gathering, business case preparation, and solution ideation.
- Experience with contract management documents such as SOW, MA, or MITA.
- Knowledge of waterfall and agile project delivery frameworks.
- Eligible to work in the Philippines.
- Able to work on-site.
- Holding an ITIL, PMP, or PMI certification is an advantage.
