Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role requires managing the investment function and assisting to manage the market and credit risk across the firm. As the current size of investable funds is small, Investment function would include oversight of all aspects of front, middle and back office in addition to the Treasury role. Governance

1.Maintain the governing documents, policies, procedures, guidelines applicable for the running of the investment function and perform periodic reviews to keep the governing framework aligned to regulations, local Board’s directives and Group’s requirements.

2.Provide inputs for all matters for regulatory, local and group meetings on a regular basis.

Investments – Front office

1.Execute sound investment strategies for all funds commensurate with the objectives and underlying nature of the liabilities of each fund.

2.Engage all the external service providers to ensure FWD gets the expected level of services.

3.Provide regular inputs for business plan, product and actuarial deliverables.

4.Facilitate investment support to distribution channels and select group of customers through investment specific content via periodic reports, interactive sessions another ad-hoc reports and analysis.

Investments – Middle office

1.Oversee all the administrative and compliance aspects for the investment function.

Investments – Back office

1. Ensure accurate and timely accounting for all funds/portfolios.
2. Ensure all regulatory, internal and group reports are prepared, reviewed and submitted in time.

3.Ensure settlement and execution of investment trades in line with the approved authority limits. Fund/unit dealing including daily purchase/redemption of units for VUL funds, NAV handling, settlement, etc.

Treasury

• 1.Own, manage and maintain overall Banking relationships including the list of bankbanks, accountss,accounts, solutions, authorized signatories, etc.
• 2.Manage the day to day and short-term cash flows of the business, including planning for excess/surplus cash, credit lines (if required),
