About The Role

Job Summary

The Senior Analyst, Trade and Cash Operations is responsible for ensuring that all cash flows and investment transactions are accurately and timely recorded in the AABOR system. The role supports efficient trade capture from multiple sources, including derivatives processing, and works closely with onshore partners and middle office teams to ensure data integrity. The position also plays a critical role in reconciliation, fund event support, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Processing & Validation

  • Receive, review, and validate transaction instructions from MIM, GA teams, custodians, and onshore partners
  • Ensure the accurate and timely booking of capital stock, fees and income, foreign exchange transactions, ad hoc trades, derivatives, and distribution payout activities in AABOR.

Reconciliation & Issue Resolution

  • Investigate and resolve cash and position breaks in coordination with Middle Office
  • Review and validate DUCO reconciliation outputs, ensuring proposed adjustments are accurate and properly supported
  • Perform discrepancy bookings following thorough validation and documentation

Fund Event & Operational Support

  • Monitor and support fund events, including seed capital, TIK/RIK processing, and Informatica updates
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of dividend distributions and reinvestments

Controls, Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date process documentation
  • Collaborate with SMEs and senior team members to strengthen control frameworks and mitigate operational risks
  • Uphold compliance with internal policies and market best practices

Continuous Improvement & Training

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce errors
  • Participate in training programs and cross-functional initiatives to support knowledge sharing and service continuity
  • Prepare and support quality checking activities within the team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in investment operations or a similar role
  • Experience performing quality checks or controls in prior roles

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in financial data research and analysis
  • Familiarity with the following systems/tools is an advantage:

  • Bloomberg
  • Aladdin
  • Power BI
  • VBA/Macros
  • Workday
