About The Role

About the Job The objective and purpose of this job is to have a leader within the Compliance Department that performs the AML/CTF function and ensures the effective implementation of the AML/CTF program of HC Consumer Finance Philippines, Inc. (HCPH). What You’ll do: Leadership Leads the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Company's Anti-Money Laundering, Counter- Terrorist Financing, and Sanctions Compliance Program. Serves as the principal adviser to the Chief Compliance Officer on AML/CTF and sanctions-related matters. Prepares AML risk reports, key risk indicators, emerging risk assessments, and management information for Senior Management, Board Committees, and the Board of Directors. Leads, coaches, and develops AML personnel and promotes a strong culture of compliance within the organization. AML Program Implementation Develops, reviews, and maintains AML/CTF and sanctions policies, risk assessments, controls, and procedures across customer due diligence, know-your-customer and know-your-business requirements, transaction monitoring, suspicious transaction reporting, targeted financial sanctions, and record-keeping requirements to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Group requirements. Oversees transaction monitoring, investigations, suspicious activity reviews, and the evaluation and escalation of suspicious transactions for filing with the appropriate authorities. Oversees sanctions screening processes and ensures timely escalation and resolution of sanctions-related matches and concerns. Ensures the timely and accurate submission of AML reports, registrations, certifications, and other regulatory requirements to relevant regulatory authorities. Provides AML advisory support to business units, products, projects, and initiatives to ensure AML risks are identified and appropriately managed. Monitors regulatory developments, assesses their impact on the organization, and drives the implementation of necessary changes. Develops and ensures delivery of AML training and awareness programs across the organization. Coordinates regulatory examinations, audits, independent reviews, and compliance testing activities, and drives the timely remediation of identified findings and control weaknesses. Other Responsibilities Acts as the Compliance Department's Business Continuity Coordinator Acts as the Company's Anti-Bribery and Corruption Program and Whistleblowing Program Coordinator. Performs other duties assigned by the Chief Compliance Officer. What You Need to Have: More than five (5) years of work experience in Compliance Department, particularly in AML, in a bank or financial institution. Has good command of the English language, both in speaking and in writing Has expert knowledge of the regulations issued by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) and other regulatory bodies. Analytical mind, problem solving, organized and can be trusted to pay attention to details. Ability to effectively communicate with employees from the differennt departments and with the senior management. Works well with the team and with the members of the other departments.
