We are currently seeking housekeepers in Augusta, GA at $14.50/hr. This will be a temp role with the opportunity to gain full-time employment. Midshifts available.

Housekeeper

Full-time positions available
Shift: Midshift (2pm-10pm)
Background check and proof of employment eligibility required. We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our housekeeping team! Provide a superior level of cleaning quality in a hospital environment. Create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where patients can heal. Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
Ensure all areas are sanitized and meet health and safety regulations.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
Follow established procedures for cleaning and waste disposal.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management.
Assist in training new housekeeping staff as needed.
Uphold HHS's standards of quality and customer service.

Physical Requirements

Standing, walking, squatting, bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching continuously throughout a shift
Pushing and pulling carts or equipment (over 100 lb.) on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift
Must handle chemicals, including bleach, wax, and disinfectants
Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to cleaning practices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Familiarity with environmental services and sanitation practices is preferred.
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
