About The Role

Job Responsibilites: Acts as the Point-of-Contact (POC) in the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety Standards and provides recommendations on work environment improvements to support employees’ well-being Monitors and identifies Occupational Health and Safety risks and implements preventive and corrective measures Supervises and ensures the proper operation and maintenance of the company’s Pollution Control facilities Ensures that appropriate systems are in place and strictly monitors contractor compliance with health and safety legal requirements, as well as adherence to company Health and Safety policies and procedures Ensures that identified Fire Marshals and deputies receive adequate training, instructions, and support, and provides guidance in coordination with management Facilitates company compliance with government legislations and statutory requirements related to Environmental Management and Pollution Control Gathers and analyzes data and conducts fire safety activities such as fire safety training, emergency drills, fire risk assessments, and safety evaluations Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Training (DOLE-accredited or equivalent) Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Training and Certification Fire Safety and Fire Marshal Training Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC) Training Emergency Preparedness and Response Training Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis Training Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) Training (preferred) Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001) Training (preferred) Experience Minimum 5–10 years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS/ESH/HSE) roles Experience in manufacturing, construction, facilities, or industrial environments is preferred Proven experience handling safety compliance, environmental regulations, and pollution control systems Strong background in fire safety management, emergency response, and risk management Experience in conducting safety audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance reporting Experience working with contractors and enforcing safety standards across multiple stakeholders Prior supervisory or managerial experience is required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field Certified Safety Officer (SO3/SO4 or equivalent, depending on local regulations such as DOLE) Certified Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Strong knowledge of occupational safety laws, environmental regulations, and government compliance requirements Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills Strong analytical skills for risk assessment, data interpretation, and incident investigation Ability to develop and implement safety programs and environmental initiatives High attention to detail and strong decision-making skills under pressure
