General Responsibilities The Senior Associate, Identity & Access Management (IAM), plays a critical role in ensuring the secure and efficient management of system access and identity-related processes within the organization. This senior role encompasses advanced IAM tasks and greater responsibility in maintaining compliance, enhancing processes, and supporting IAM technologies. Ensure that system access is consistently maintained in accordance with company policies and security standards. Administer user access and controls for various applications, employing the principle of least privilege based on approved service requests. Lead and perform regular user access reviews to evaluate and adjust access levels according to job responsibilities. Timely remediate user access compliance issues. Maintain the organization of IT accounts to individual identities, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Support access management control activities across all infrastructure systems, including cloud services and on-premises resources. Identify opportunities to streamline IAM processes to meet the requirements of audit and compliance policies efficiently. Continue to follow, maintain, and enhance process documentation to ensure clarity and consistency in IAM operations. Collaborate in the improvement of tools and technologies that support IAM processes, staying up-to-date with emerging IAM trends and solutions. Play a pivotal role in ensuring IAM compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates within the IAM team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to implement IAM best practices and security measures. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the immediate head, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the IAM function Qualifications In-depth knowledge of AWS IAM processes and architecture, including Directory Service setup and maintenance. Substantial experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) Proficiency in core IAM domains, including Identity Governance and Administration, Privileged Access Management, Authentication, Authorization, and Identity Lifecycle Management. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Experience with other AWS services (setup and maintenance) is a plus.
