Senior Civil Engineer

The opportunity

We’re seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Jakarta team and support the successful delivery of complex infrastructure and civil projects across Indonesia.

In this role, you will apply your strong technical expertise to develop practical, economical solutions , lead delivery across multiple projects, and contribute to building lasting client relationships.

Key responsibilities

Technical leadership & delivery

• Apply deep technical knowledge to deliver effective and innovative engineering solutions
• Lead projects from inception, concept, and detailed design through to delivery
• Manage and review work of engineers to ensure quality and technical excellence
• Delivery outcomes aligned with time, cost, and performance targets

Project & commercial management

• Manage multiple projects, ensuring operational excellence and risk awareness
• Plan, resource, and monitor work to meet budgets and client expectations
• Understand financial impacts and contribute to successful project outcomes

Client & stakeholder engagement

• Build strong client relationships through understanding needs and delivering value
• Communicate technical solutions clearly to maximize client understanding
• Support repeat business through trusted advisory and delivery excellence

Team contribution & leadership

• Mentor and coach junior engineers and contribute to team capability growth
• Collaborate effectively, contributing to team and project success
• Communicate proactively to keep stakeholders informed on progress and timelines

About you

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering with >7 years’ experience
• Experience in a consulting engineering environment
• Strong expertise in civil design and project delivery
• Professional certification/registration (preferred)
• Strong communication skills ( Bahasa Indonesia & English )
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and stakeholders
