About The Role

CROWN Hellas Can Packaging SA is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance and repair on can manufacturing equipment during day shifts.

Job Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance on can-making machinery, including presses, bodymakers, decorators, and other associated equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and failures efficiently to minimize production downtime.
Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of mechanical components such as bearings, gears, motors, pumps, and conveyor systems.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably within a manufacturing environment, ideally in can packaging or similar high-speed production.
Strong understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Proficiency in using various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong commitment to safety procedures.
Flexibility to work day shifts as required.
Good communication skills in English and Greek.
