WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
Do you love connecting with people, spotting great talent, and building teams that create incredible guest experiences? As our Assistant Manager of Recruiting , you'll lead the team responsible for making the very first impression on future employees. Working alongside the Manager, Human Resources, you'll drive innovative recruitment strategies, inspire a high-performing recruiting team, and ensure we're attracting top talent from around the corner and around the world.
- Coordinating, coaching, and inspiring our Recruiting team to deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact to hire.
- Executing creative recruitment strategies that keep our resort fully staffed with talented, engaged people all year long.
- Attracting top talent using social media, community partnerships, employee referrals, campus recruitment, job fairs, and other innovative sourcing strategies.
- Building strong relationships with colleges, employment agencies, community organizations, recruiters, and international partners to expand our talent pipeline. (Yes, there may be some travel involved!)
- Partnering with leaders across the resort to understand workforce needs and provide recruitment expertise.
- Monitoring recruiting workflows and HR processes to ensure everything is completed accurately, and efficiently.
- Using recruiting metrics and insights to continually improve hiring strategies and elevate our employer brand.
- Supporting, collaborating, and informing other Human Resources team members on recruitment and workforce insights in order to drive overall performance of the company.
- WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
- We are looking for an innovative people-person with a passion for collaboration and fun.
- Blue Mountain leadership experience is an asset – at least 5 years’ of Supervisory experience
- A sales mentality - you are driven, enthusiastic, enjoy speaking to groups and ready to share our resort experience with potential candidates.
- Flexibility to work in Collingwood (both onsite at resort and the satellite office) and hit the road for recruitment events.
- G-Class Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract required.
