About The Role

About Expedock

We are a tech-enabled workforce augmentation platform leveraging top 1% offshore talent & cutting edge technology to enable businesses to unlock their full potential.

Who We Need

We need a Sales Support Specialist who can move fast and think commercially.

Someone who can turn around accurate rates and generate winning quotations within SLA —keeping the sales team equipped to close deals. You should be confident in sourcing rates, computing charges, and building competitive quotes with speed and precision.

If you thrive under pressure, manage volume with accuracy, and understand that every quote drives revenue—this role is for you.

What You'll Do

  • Rates & Pricing Management - Take ownership of gathering, analyzing, and maintaining freight rates from carriers, co-loaders, and suppliers. Evaluate rate competitiveness and ensure pricing is aligned with market conditions and client requirements.
  • Quotation Development - Prepare accurate and competitive quotations by computing end-to-end charges (freight, surcharges, duties, and other costs). Structure pricing strategically to support the sales team in winning business while protecting margins.
  • Commercial Support to Sales - Work closely with the sales team to translate client requirements into tailored pricing solutions. Provide recommendations on rate strategy, cost breakdowns, and service options.
  • Client Coordination - Serve as a key point of contact for quotation-related inquiries, ensuring timely responses, clear communication, and a smooth customer experience.
  • Contract & Vendor Management - Coordinate with carriers and partners to validate rates, clarify terms, and ensure all commercial agreements are accurate and up to date. Support renegotiations based on market trends and volume opportunities.

What You Need

  • Experience in freight forwarding, shipping lines, or brokerage (local or international)
  • Strong understanding of shipping documents (BOLs, AWBs, packing lists, invoices, etc.)
  • Proven experience in rate sourcing, cost computation, and quotation building
  • Familiarity with freight pricing components (freight charges, surcharges, duties, and other logistics costs)
  • Comfortable using TMS platforms such as CargoWise or Magaya
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to validate and analyze data (not just encode)
  • Graduate of Customs Administration or a related field
  • Licensed Customs Broker (preferred)
  • Strong English communication skills (C1), both written and spoken

Technical Requirements

  • Fiber internet (PLDT Fiber, Converge, Globe Fiber, etc.) - recommended speed of 100/50 Mbps
  • Backup internet (mobile hotspot or secondary ISP) capable of at least 20 Mbps
  • Quiet, conducive home workspace
  • OPTIONAL: Wired Ethernet connection preferred during work hours
  • OPTIONAL: Power backup (UPS) if the location experiences frequent outages

Why Expedock

  • HMO & Leave Credits: Stay protected with healthcare benefits and use accrued leaves by your third month
  • Supportive Remote Environment: Work from home alongside a collaborative team that values growth and mutual success.
  • Seamless Onboarding & Training: Get up to speed quickly with a structured program and client specific training designed to make you a subject matter expert in your assigned workflows.
