Marketing Assistant

About You & the Role Join the Institutional Banking Group – Commercial Banking Division as a Marketing Assistant , where you will work closely with Account Officers and Team Heads to support marketing initiatives and client acquisition efforts. What You Will Be Doing Assist Account Officers in preparing credit applications, evaluations, and memoranda for senior management approval. Prepare credit requests and generate reports (Credit Investigation, Risk Rating, Appraisal). Gather client data from internal/external sources and direct client interactions. Undertake client calls, plant visits, and prepare marketing call reports. Monitor daily loan maturities, interest repricing, payments, and client needs (loans, letters of credit, trust receipts). Route offering slips and prepare credit instructions for loan implementation, renewal, payment, and collateral release. Assist in documentation and registration/cancellation/amendment of collateral securities. Organize loan documentation by coordinating directly with clients. Attend to client inquiries, complaints, and other banking needs via phone or in person. Spot new business opportunities and refer potential accounts to Account Officers. Focus on soliciting “middle market” and “commercial” accounts. Perform other duties as assigned. What Success Looks Like Complete and updated documentation for all transactions (prebooking, post-booking, renewal, extension). Efficient turnaround time in account review, memo preparation, daily transactions, coordination, and report generation. Proactive identification and resolution of documentary deficiencies. Effective client coordination and satisfaction. Qualifications & Skills We Value College graduate (degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce, Accountancy or any business-related course). Financial analysis, business analysis, and marketing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong documentation and client coordination/negotiation skills. Ability to coordinate with various business units within the bank.
