Internal Auditor

About the Job The Internal Auditor would be tasked to assist in reviewing, evaluating, and analyzing the company’s IT process in order to create implementation of audit plans and ensure that the internal company’s processes are reliable and have the information report to the management. The role directly reports to the IT Audit Manager. What You’ll Do: 1. Audit Planning & Execution • Assist in developing audit programs for business process audits based on risk assessments. • Perform audits of operational and financial processes, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting. • Gather and analyze data to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and compliance issues. 2. Risk Assessment & Internal Controls • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls within business operations. • Identify risks and propose recommendations to strengthen governance and process integrity. 3. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence • Ensure audits comply with internal policies, SEC and BSP regulations, and international audit standards. • Support regulatory reviews and provide documentation as required. 4. Reporting & Communication • Prepare clear and concise audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations. • Participate in exit meetings with auditees to discuss results and agree on corrective actions. • Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and report progress to management. 5. Continuous Improvement • Contribute to the enhancement of audit methodologies and tools. • Support special reviews, investigations, and advisory projects as assigned. What you need to have: At least 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role Knowledge and exposure to Philippines laws and regulations i.e., Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) policies, other relevant local law in regard to e-money services and digital lending is an added advantage. Experience in Risk Management and Compliance is also an added advantage Advance use of desktop applications, including data analysis tools Ability to work independently with limited direction and guidance and provide coaching to other internal audit team members. Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present to peers and management. Experience in performing multiple projects and working with varying team members.
