This role will sit at the intersection of Product and Engineering, owning the transition from manual testing workflows to an automated, scalable QA and deployment pipeline.This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test systems, reducing bottlenecks in the development lifecycle, and supporting infrastructure reliability. The goal is to enable faster, higher-quality releases while allowing Product Designers and Engineers to focus on high-value work.RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright) to ensure coverage of critical product workflowsTranslate product requirements and user flows into scalable, automated test casesIdentify gaps in current QA processes and proactively improve testing coverage and reliabilityCollaborate closely with Product Designers and Engineers to ensure features meet acceptance criteria and quality standardsOwn and optimize the testing lifecycle within the development process, reducing manual QA dependencySupport CI/CD pipeline management and improvements to ensure smooth and reliable deploymentsMonitor application performance and deployment stability, identifying and resolving issues proactivelyDocument testing frameworks, processes, and best practices for internal teamsTrack and report on testing coverage, bug trends, and deployment quality metricsSETUPThis is a work-from-home setupTarget of 42.5 billable hours per weekThis role follows a consistent daily rhythm that aligns with US Eastern business hours while giving you time for rest, personal tasks, and balance throughout your <day.Here>’s what a typical day looks like:Start your day with a 4.5-hour work block: 9:30am–2:00pm (PHT)Enjoy your afternoon free: 2:00pm–8:00pm (PHT)Finish your workday with another 4.5-hour block: 8:00pm–12:30am (PHT)Sleep/rest: 12:30am–9:30am (PHT)This structure offers a long midday break while supporting strong collaboration with US-based teams during their business hours.Work-from-home setupNote: All of these times would shift 1 hour later when the time difference switches to 13 hour differences from 12 hour differencesREQUIREMENTSBased in the Philippines with consistent availability for a long-term roleExceptional English verbal and written communication skillsStrong academic background with an outstanding General Weighted AverageDegree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical fieldProven experience in a SaaS or fast-paced software development environmentStrong proficiency in automated testing frameworks (preferably Playwright)Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalentAbility to translate product requirements into technical test cases and communicate issues clearly to developersStrong debugging and problem-solving skills across both frontend and backend systemsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying gaps and inefficienciesComfortable working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersORG OVERVIEWMeet the TeamWe currently have 100+ team members who live in the Philippines who have been fantastic team members and we’re excited to add new team members to this new role!There are a few traits unique to our business that individuals should consider before <applying.You> must love the idea of giving back to the community and nonprofits.
