Baca Saw Operator – Construction Resources Surfaces (Decatur, GA)

Overview

Construction Resources Surfaces is seeking a dependable, detail‑oriented individual to join our production team as a Baca Saw Operator . This role involves working with automated cutting equipment to support the fabrication of stone and surface materials used in residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

Operate and monitor a robotic cutting system equipped with a rotating saw
Follow production schedules and job specifications to ensure accurate material processing
Assist with preparing materials before cutting and organizing finished pieces afterward
Perform basic equipment checks and communicate any issues to the supervisor
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Support general shop operations as needed

Qualifications

Preferably 2–3 years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or machine operation
Ability to learn and operate automated or computer‑assisted machinery
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, industrial environment
Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established procedures
Reliable attendance and a team‑oriented mindset

Work Environment

This position is based in our Decatur, Georgia facility and involves hands‑on work with stone materials and production equipment.
