About The Role

Position Accountability Statement: The Assistant Product Lead – Value-Added Services supports the development, implementation, and performance of value-added and cross-selling services across MaxiGroup portfolios. The role assists in designing and optimizing VAS offerings embedded within life, health, and care products, ensuring alignment with product strategy, customer experience, and regulatory requirements. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the role helps deliver VAS initiatives, track performance, and drive continuous improvement across HMO, insurance, and clinic products. Specific Areas of Accountability: Specific Areas of Accountability : Support the management of the VAS portfolio across HMO, insurance, and clinic products, ensuring smooth execution, ongoing optimization, and alignment with business priorities. Assist in designing, developing, and launching value-added services to increase customer adoption, engagement, and cross-sell opportunities, while driving incremental Contribute to the execution of the VAS product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with target customer segments, lifecycle objectives, and growth priorities. Facilitate end-to-end product development, including ideation, business case creation, implementation planning, launch coordination, and post-launch performance monitoring. Conduct market, customer, and competitor analysis, synthesizing insights to inform enhancements, new initiatives, and portfolio decisions. Execute pilot programs, validation activities, and phased rollouts, monitoring results and providing recommendations for scaling based on adoption, operational readiness, and financial impact. Support the identification, evaluation, onboarding, and performance monitoring of strategic VAS partnerships, including service providers and commercial collaborators. Drive cross-functional collaboration with Actuarial, Operations, CIT, and Governance teams to enable timely approvals, smooth implementation, and effective launch of initiatives. Facilitate the preparation of contracts, forms, regulatory submissions, and approval documents, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards. Ensure VAS initiatives comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards, maintaining audit-ready documentation at all times. Track and report on VAS performance metrics such as adoption, usage, customer feedback, and revenue contribution, highlighting risks and opportunities for optimization. Communicate key issues, risks, and trade-offs related to VAS initiatives to the Senior Product Lead, enabling informed decision-making. Support the day-to-day coordination and prioritization of the VAS product team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and skill development. Promote strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful delivery, adoption, and impact of VAS initiatives. Desired Skills and Competencies Experience in marketing management, product management, project management, and/or quality management in insurance/healthcare. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support product initiatives. Works independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Previous leadership or management experience is an advantage. Clear and effective communication with peers, managers, and stakeholders. Adaptable to fast-paced and dynamic work environments. Reliable in meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities. Able to collaborate with colleagues and external partners effectively. Familiarity with UX/UI, service design, or customer experience concepts. Exposure to design thinking, prototyping, or usability testing is a plus. Professional Qualification: Professional Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related fields. At least 3 years’ background in insurance, healthcare, or related industries, with a focus on product and project management. Proven track record contributing to cross-functional projects and coordinating team activities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with project management tools. Exposure to team or multi-vendor coordination is an advantage. Knowledge of regulated industries such as healthcare, insurance, or financial services is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
