POSITION TITLE : PROJECT MANAGER REPORTS TO : PLANNING & GOVERNANCE HEAD DIRECTLY SUPERVISES : N/A UNIT/DEPARMENT : PLANNING & GOVERNANCE DIVISION/ GROUP : INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY JOB SUMMARY The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the delivery of technology-related projects. PM leads cross-functional strategic and business-initiated projects with varying complexity across different types of projects such as but not limited to launching of new products and services, large-scale application development, systems integration, regulatory or security compliance, operational efficiency improvements, infrastructure, and application upgrades. PM manages a Project Working Team (PWT) of various sizes, both internal and external resources, and chairs regular meeting with PWT and Project Sponsor / Project Steering Committee (PSC) to review progress on overall delivery plan in relation to scope, cost and schedule, and project risks/issues/dependencies/changes. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Single accountable party for planning, orchestrating, and delivering a technology-related project. Directs technology-related project with varying complexity, millions of investments, and involving multiple internal and external resources Directly manages all aspects of the project lifecycle and works with matrix IT partners to oversee all SLDC phases of a project Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters. Chairs regular meeting with PWT and Project Sponsor / Project Steering Committee (PSC) to review progress on overall delivery plan as to scope, cost and schedule, and project risks, assumptions, actions, issues, and dependencies, and proposes recommendations and adjustments. Publishes periodic project status reports. Ensures compliance with required project artifacts and audit requirements (internal/external audit) It is accepted and understood that the employee may perform other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Years of Work Experience: 5 – 10 years Educational Attainment/ Required course ( if applicable) : Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, ECE, Information Technology and other related courses Required Certification/ Professional License ( if applicable ): Not required but is an advantage (e.g. PMP Certification, Scrum Master,Prince2) Field of Specialization ( if applicable ): Project Management, IT Service Delivery, IT Infrastructure, IT-Software, Project Management Officer, Process Improvement, Audit & Taxation, Banking and Financial, IT-Software, Process Design & Control, Quality Assurance Industry Accounting/Audit/Tax Services, Banking, Financial Technology/Fintech, Information Technology Knowledge and Skills Requirement: Exemplary core project management skills and has knowledge on SDLC for both waterfall and agile delivery Has experience of successfully leading complex and multi-component IT projects. Knowledge or experience of banking operations is a plus.
