[What you will be working on]

Lead technical teams or projects as Principal Investigator to develop technical strategies for project execution, oversee efficient and proper execution of project activities and ensure timely delivery of quality outputs.
Continuously keep current with aquaculture trends and development to drive innovation in technical aspects as a subject matter expert in his/her field of expertise.
Mentor junior colleagues to help build team technical competency and teamwork for smooth execution and completion of project within the project timeframe.
Handle project administration and procurement tasks while ensuring fiscal prudence for efficient budget management and utilization
Perform work activities to support Aquaculture Innovation Centre’s work functions, role and responsibilities.
Comply and uphold laboratory, facility and farm biosecurity requirements and housekeeping needs.

[What we are looking for]

Minimum 3 years of relevant aquaculture experience in pilot-scale or commercial settings with a track record of securing R&D grants or publishing scientific research.
Candidates with experience in aquaculture business development would be preferred.
Efficient in using statistical tools and AI software for data management, report writing and presentation.
Clear-minded with ability to prioritize work activities to keep track and update project progress to RO or lead PI timely.
Alert and responsive to identify and improve work processes for better work efficiency and output.
