This roleWe are seeking a skilled IT Specialist to support and enhance our IT infrastructure, cloud services, and end-user experience. This role combines hands-on helpdesk support, network administration, cloud technologies, and IT asset management to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient systems across the organization.
Responsibilities
Helpdesk & End-User Support
- Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for hardware, software, and SaaS applications
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
- Support operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and productivity tools
- Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the ticketing system
Cloud & Systems Administration
- Support and maintain cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, Slack, etc….)
- Manage user access, permissions, and identity services (e.g., Google SSO, IAM)
- Assist with cloud-based backups, monitoring, and security best practices
- Support SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira, etc.
Networking
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues
- Assist with network security controls and access management
IT Asset Management
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets (procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and decommissioning)
- Maintain accurate asset inventory records and ensure compliance
- Coordinate device provisioning, replacements, and returns
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes
Security & Compliance
- Follow IT security policies and best practices
- Assist with endpoint protection, patching, and vulnerability remediation (e.g., SentinelOne, Kandji/Iru MDM)
- Support audits and compliance requirements as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or
- 6+ years provided support in the form of Linux\Windows\Mac OS architecture
- Experience with automation engineering, switches and network technologies
- SaaS / Cloud experience (Google Workplace / Slack / 1Password / SSO)
- Strong understanding of system and application integration, as well automation engineering
- Able to work off hours for maintenance and projects
- Periodic travel to other offices to help support staff.
