Senior Oracle PL/SQL Software Engineer

Your role as a Software Engineer will be to maintain and enhance  Platform & Integration  modules, developing change requests, and providing support to live clients. This job opportunity allows for a unique combination to advance your development skills, but also to acquire banking know how on a top level.

You will work closely with the SPOC for Product (ACP) and SPOC for APAC (Parameterization) to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality solutions within the team’s area of responsibility.

Your mission

• Participate in all phases of product development and enhancement including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and documentation using agile methodologies.
• Ensure quality and maintainability of our products by designing technically sound solutions, hunting bugs, and providing support to our clients.
• Become a subject matter expert to contribute to the general improvements of our products and to take ownership of code components.
• Support Domain Lead / Stream Lead with estimation of work packages
• Hands-on experience as a Software Developer
• Proven expertise in SQL, PL/SQL
• Excellent analytical skills
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies
• A team player, willing to contribute and help other team members
• Eagerness to learn and understand the business needs
• Banking know-how is an advantage but not required
• Banking know-how experience
• Experience working with Avaloq Technology
