About The Role
Softeta is an IT solutions provider based in Vilnius, Lithuania. With over 100 professionals located across Lithuania and Poland, we support companies in overcoming complex challenges through tailor-made IT/OT solutions and support in cybersecurity, digital transformation and industrial automation areas. Softeta is looking for a talented and experienced SOC Architect to become a part of our vibrant team and who will work for our strategic customer in energy sector.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Security Operations Center (SOC) architecture for IT and OT environments across energy generation, transmission, and distribution assets.
- Develop and maintain security monitoring strategy, ensuring comprehensive visibility across enterprise, cloud, and industrial control systems.
- Design and optimize security log management, telemetry collection, and data onboarding from enterprise and industrial environments.
- Define SOC architecture roadmaps, technology standards, and reference architectures supporting digital transformation initiatives.
- Lead security tool evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and vendor selection processes.
- Develop architecture documentation, security standards, implementation guidelines, and executive-level reporting.
- Support cyber resilience initiatives by integrating incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability management.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including NIS2, IEC 62443.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including extensive experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) architecture and security engineering.
- Familiarity with industrial automation environments (PLC, SAS, OT General).
- Strong understanding of IT and OT cybersecurity concepts.
- Practical knowledge of IEC 62443.
- Ability to translate business and operational requirements into scalable security architectures and technical solutions.
- Familiarity with protocol analysis and system hardening.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across organizations.
- Fluent English.
