Digital Delivery Intern

Key Responsibilities

3D Modelling and detailing
BIM implementation
Participating in office technical discussions and project delivery meetings
Conducting conceptual and detailed design and drafting in order to prepare technical drawings and documentation
Provide practical and economical solutions to project deliverables
Maintain a high level of Computer Aided Drawing (CAD) and modelling expertise and engineering knowledge
Ensure drawings and documentation are to the highest quality
Strictly adhere to SMEC’s Management System (MS), quality standards and OHS procedures
Assist Project Managers & Engineers with site queries and reporting solutions
Parametric Modelling
Model Federation and rendering development

Key Challenges

To work independently and self-motivated to produce accurate drawings to a high standard within set deadlines
Develop models and civil engineering drawings related to water infrastructure projects.

Key Performance Indicators

Accuracy of drawings and models
Meeting set deadlines. Here the expectation is to manage own deadlines as well as be responsible for the deadlines of the drafting team as a whole.
Identifies and understands technical issues, problems and opportunities
Project delivery to meet client’s ToR/ BEP

Recommended Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Certified Droughting Certificate in Revit & Autodesk.
Proficiency in Revit, C3D, QGIS, and any other discipline associated software essential
ACC / BIM360 and Project Wise Proficiency
Modelling and Detailing to LOD 100-500
