Business Development Manager/Coordinator, Country Management

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Market & Business Development Support

• Identify and originate potential business opportunities with Korean and/or Greater China capital markets.
• Maintain relationships with key partners, corporates, investors, and regulators.

Strategy & Market Analysis

• Assist the Country Head in developing market strategies and business plans.
• Conduct industry research, and prepare strategic recommendations.

Project Coordination & Execution

• Support execution of M&A, capital markets, and partnership activities.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and internal coordination for assigned projects.

Cross-Cultural Communication & Translation

• Translate presentations, reports, contracts, and correspondence between Chinese, English, and Korean.
• Facilitate meetings and communications with global and Greater China stakeholders.

Stakeholder Liaison

• Coordinate with internal teams across business units, operations, risk, compliance, and other functions.
• Act as point of contact for regulators, clients, and external partners.

Reporting

• Act as point of contact for regulators, clients, and external partners.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
• Experience: 4+ years in investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, or related services.
• Languages: Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, plus full professional fluency in Korean and English.
• Skills: Strong financial analysis, presentation, project coordination, and cross-cultural communication abilities.
• Other: Based in Seoul; understanding of Korea–Greater China cross-border investments; ability to travel regionally.
