About The Role

As a Production Planner, you will drive master scheduling and production planning for industrial pump systems, rotating equipment, and precision assemblies . You will collaborate closely with line management to balance quality, inventory, cost, and delivery targets while satisfying critical customer demand . In this role, you will translate sales forecasts into actionable build schedules and keep manufacturing workflows running efficiently .

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage core planning inputs including sales orders, original equipment manufacturer forecasts, custom pump builds, and strategic production schedules .
  • Translate consolidated demand and sales forecasts into master production schedules using material requirements planning systems .
  • Prepare and distribute weekly manufacturing schedules and work order dispatch lists across production assembly lines .
  • Resolve schedule discrepancies, material shortages, order revisions, and shipping bottlenecks in coordination with plant management .
  • Coordinate and execute routine physical inventory audits and cycle counts across the facility .
  • Initiate and lead vendor corrective action procedures for non-conforming material receipts .
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with purchasing, engineering, and quality teams to maintain on-time delivery metrics .

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field .
  • 2+ years of hands-on production planning, master scheduling, or material requirements planning experience in a manufacturing setting .
  • Intermediate knowledge of pump systems and parts.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of industrial pumps, rotating equipment, or fluid handling systems.
  • Solid understanding of material requirements planning logic, capacity planning, and shop-floor scheduling .
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting .
