About The Role

Assess and underwrite medical, financial and special risks within delegated authority limits, ensuring timely and consistent underwriting decisions Provide technical underwriting expertise and support to clients, internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering practical solutions, training and guidance on underwriting matters Contribute to the development and enhancement of underwriting standards, guidelines, standards, frameworks and best practices Support claims assessment and approval within delegated authority limits Monitor market trends, medical advancements, regulatory developments and emerging risks to identify opportunities for innovation and business growth Collaborate with actuarial, claims and business development teams on product development, and strategic projects Identify client training needs and support the development and delivery of underwriting training programmes Coach and mentor junior underwriters, promoting technical excellence and knowledge sharing Participate in regional and international initiatives and projects
