About The Role

As Payments Product Team Leader , you will be responsible to lead lifecycle management activities across issuing and acquiring portfolios by driving customer and merchant activation, engagement, retention and portfolio optimisation strategies to achieve business and customer objectives.

In this role you will,

  • Lead and coordinate lifecycle management activities by translating portfolio priorities into actionable initiatives and delivery plans;
  • Lead customer and merchant activation, utilisation, retention and reactivation strategies to improve portfolio performance, engagement and profitability across issuing and acquiring portfolios;
  • Monitor portfolio performance and define strategic actions to improve customer and merchant activation, utilisation, profitability, portfolio quality and customer experience;
  • Manage and develop the LCM team by setting objectives, monitoring performance, allocating resources, providing coaching and feedback, and building team capability to achieve delivery objectives and enhance individual and team effectiveness;
  • Oversee customer and merchant lifecycle campaigns and ensure delivery of business and customer objectives;
  • Lead portfolio optimisation initiatives across issuing and acquiring portfolios by identifying opportunities to improve customer performance, profitability and portfolio value;
  • Oversee implementation of product enhancements, customer value propositions and lifecycle interventions.
  • Oversee acquiring portfolio performance by monitoring merchant activity, transaction growth, retention and portfolio quality, and defining actions to improve merchant outcomes;
  • Identify portfolio risks and emerging issues and coordinate corrective actions with stakeholders;
  • Monitor customer and merchant feedback, complaints and service performance and sponsor improvement actions;
  • Coordinate with Product, Marketing, Risk, Operations and other stakeholders to deliver lifecycle management initiatives;
  • Ensure adherence to governance, regulatory and risk requirements across lifecycle management activities.

We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of

Either

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems or a related discipline;
  • 4 years of experience in payments, digital financial services or related financial services domains.

Or

  • 6 years of experience in payments, digital financial services or related financial services domains.

A combination of both qualification & experience will be considered.
