Yassir is the leading super App in the Maghreb region set to changing the way daily services are provided. It currently operates in 45 cities across Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia with recent expansions into France, Canada and Sub-Saharan Africa. It is backed (~$200M in funding) by VCs from Silicon Valley, Europe and other parts of the world. We offer on-demand services such as ride-hailing and last-mile delivery. Building on this infrastructure, we are now introducing financial services to help our users pay, save and borrow digitally. Helping usher the continent into a digital economy era. Responsibilities

Transaction & Payment Management: Oversee daily back-office routines, pay-ins, payouts, payment gateways.
Process Optimization: Identify operational bottlenecks and drive automation or process redesign with product and engineering teams.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with tech, risk, product, and compliance teams to troubleshoot system failures and resolve user friction points quickly.
Compliance & Risk Oversight: Monitor adherence to KYC, AML, PCI DSS, and local financial regulations.
Performance Reporting: Track core operational KPIs, transaction success rates, and conversion metrics using dashboards.
On-Call Function: Work after working hours to provide support 24/7.

Core Requirements

Experience: 3 to 6+ years in fintech operations, payment processing, or business analysis.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and experience with SQL, BI reporting tools, or ERP/financial systems.
Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of digital wallets, lending protocols, merchant acquiring, or bank integrations.
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and crisis response capabilities.
