About The Role
- Overseeing or executing in-line inspections for samples in production, according to given standards.
- Ensuring quantitative and qualitative analysis, such as testing and measuring using specific test equipment.
- Documenting results of inspection in the respective IT systems.
- Releasing deliveries, products and services which meet expectations.
- Deciding on stoppage for (semi-)products which does not meet quality requirements and escalates cases.
- A job at this level…
- Takes samples from incoming goods (or production).
- Performs visual (or specific sensual) checks, and additional (e. g. functional) tests onsite, in accordance with test specifications.
- Utilizes check routines, check lists, and select respective test devices, according to the subject to check.
- Raises issues, or may have authority to stop / prevent materials or parts from further usage, within clear cases.
- Document results in the system.
