The Role

You will work with the Nordic Air Defence Research & Technology team.

Responsibilities

  • Test and evaluate novel methods for perception and autonomy
  • Develop new methods to solve C-UAS perception challenges
  • Implement solutions into Nordic Air Defence software platform
  • Profile and debug on constrained targets to achieve deterministic, reliable behaviour; participate in architecture discussions and code reviews
  • Work cross-functionally (controls, perception, avionics, mechanical) to deliver integrated system capabilities

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or Physics with a concentration in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams (HW+SW projects)
  • Proficiency with modern software development in C++ and Python
  • Fully proficient in English (working language of the company)
  • Proficiency with Git and Linux-based development environments
  • Must be able to obtain work permit in Sweden

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing computer vision functionality
  • Experience in robotics
  • SW development for embedded targets
  • SW development for GPU (OpenCL/CUDA)
  • Experience managing technical projects
