About The Role

Do you want to support the Clutha District and help grow and develop the area for future generations? We’re looking for a motivated Planning Officer to join our Planning Team in our Regulatory Services Department.

In this role, you will

Process simple applications for resource consents
Carry out administrative processing of planning, compliance and other regulatory applications as required
Provide technical planning and regulatory advice to internal and external stakeholders in response to enquires
Be part of an inclusive team environment to help deliver growth minded planning services for the Clutha District.

We are looking for someone who

Has a Level 5 Diploma in a related field or equivalent experience
At least 2 years’ experience in a relevant field
Is able to interpret, analyse and present information to explain technical information clearly to meet customers and stakeholders needs
Enjoys working as part of a team and capable of working independently
Is committed to providing high-quality customer service in response to enquires
