Job Description Job Title Instrumentation Engineering Officer Span Central Function & Role E&I Engineering Job Family Officer Reporting to (position) E&I Engineering Manager Direct Reportees(position) NA Responsible for detail engineering in assigned projects w.r.t. function - Key Roles & Responsibilities Experience basic or Feed engineering Timely delivery of engineering design with respect to cost,Quality and time matrix Preparation/review of instrumention engineering deliverables like - instrument list ,instrument index,I/O listing,data sheets, TBA and Inquiry Review of instrumentation sizing calculations Support to process/technology team for preparation of layout/P&ID and HAZOP etc Review of basic engineering package with respect to AIL design codes and IS/IEC codes Review and validation of detail cost estimation done by estimation team and exposure of proposal engineering Preparation /Review of technical specification sheet(TSS)/IDS received from consultant Evaluation and selection of vendor and preparation of vendor list Floating of RFQ to approved vendors and Preparation of TBA Erection and Commissioning of field instrumentation Erection and Commissioning of DCS/ESD Selection of field instruments as per application Design and selection of BPCS & ESD along with inquiry to TBA Preferable for the preparation of logic diagram along with programming of DCS Design & selection F&G , CCTV and telecom Review & participate in engineering mechanical packages (Compressor , chiller and process packages ) Technical qualification of received offers Preparation/Review of technical bid evaluation (TBE) Approval of ITP/QAP before release of order and Experience of FAT related to instrumentation Code creation in SAP system PR/SR creation in SAP system Review and approval of drawing and documents received from consultant and vendors Preparation of data sheet,Hook up,JB schedule, Cable schedule etc Preparation of BOM and tender documents Selection of service contractors FAT & SAT for control system and critical instruments Exposure to Hazop & SIL review Experience of reviewing modeling activity and can issue the layout for construction Support to the site project team for any difficulties at site Following equipment codes, standards procedure. ANSI , ISA while designing and selection of any instruments Preforming value engineering at different stage of projects Job specification Experience 8-10 years Qualification BE/B.TECH Instrumentation and control Exposure 1. Candidate should have exposure in designing of minimum 500 instruments and minimum of 1500 I/O’s DCS. 2. Working with detail engineering consultant and exposure to ESD system is preferable 3.
